21Reasons for Singing, Giving and Smiling

The lovers of God, good music and philanthropy have 21Reasons to clap, dance, sing, smile and be happy about something! Well, 21 Reasons is the event to attend this Thursday the 21st November 2013 from 5:30 pm to 8:30pm. It is a concert that will help raise funds for House of Mercy Children’s home that is based in Kimbo, Githurai.

There has been a countdown to the 21st by explaining the 21reasons why we should be part of 21Reasons on the Facebook event page. Here are the first five…

Reason #1

“Give, and it will be given to you.
A good measure, pressed down,
shaken together and running
over, will be poured into your
lap. For with the measure you
use, it will be measured to you” [Luke 6:38]

Reason #2

“He who is generous will be blessed, for he
gives some of his food to the poor.” [Proverbs
22:9]

Reason #3

‘If a brother or sister is without clothing
and in need of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and be filled,” and yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use is that?’ [James 2:15-16]

Reason #4

God is pleased! “And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased” [Hebrews 13:16]

Reason #5

“But since you excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in the love we have kindled in you [a]—see that you also excel in this Grace of Giving.”[2 Corinthians 8:7]

The team invites you to ‘Come prepared to have an absolutely amazing time with some of the most gifted musicians and wordsmiths of our time.’ at Checkers Deli across Jevanjee Gardens on Muindi Mbingu Street. Guests can bring with them dry foodstuffs and or cereals if they like.
